Such a feature helps the Logistic Management industry to control overall communications costs whilst maintaining accurate location control of their fleets and the packages that they moving. This communications cost optimization feature enables the automatic selection of operators where Fleets are roaming and offers the ability to define a list of up to 100 GSM operators on PLMN-Public Land Mobile Networks thus allowing the Fleet and Logistic Management companies to select the most cost effective operator. Additionally this feature allows the Fleet and Logistic Companies to control costs by being able to define a list of forbidden operators. This becomes an incentive to operators to extend their roaming partner portfolio thereby increasing their client base. |

Sekurtrack™ has a new feature that safeguards the privacy of drivers who have personal use of company vehicles.
It is widely recognized that vehicle tracking brings companies many benefits in terms of improved accountability for business mileage, fuel and hours. The SekurTrack™ solution, being web based and providing daily vehicle usage reporting, is established as an excellent means of providing such information. There are always concerns, however, about intrusion into the privacy of drivers who are allowed to use their vehicles outside working hours for private use. This arises typically in the case of company cars, where the employee may also have the use of the vehicle as an employment benefit.
The Sekurtrack™ privacy feature allows Fleet managers to manage the agreed working hours for weekdays and weekends, and any trips made outside those hours will not be recorded. This gives the best of both worlds - the company has an effective and complete record of business use during the working day, and the drivers retain their privacy at other times. There are extensions to the reports that are generated by the system that show the detail of the trips in working hours. This feature ensures companies can benefit from improved control of a mobile work force, but without sacrificing employee privacy".
